Description:
The Maintenance & Reliability session will cover a wide range of topics including an application of Fitness for Service through case study of a Steam Superheater that experienced high temperature excursion to sharing a reliability improvement success story of one of the most critical ethylene furnace equipment, an induced draft fan. Additionally, variety of maintenance and inspection related topics will also be addressed such as a failure caused by steam hammer phenomenon, high pressure steam header failure, comparing different inspection technics for transfer-line heat exchanger tubes and introduction of novel methods used in monitoring piping repairs.
