Tuesday, April 2, 2019: 10:15 AM - 11:45 AM
Churchill C1 (Hilton New Orleans Riverside)
Description:
An increasing world population and higher GDP and living standards, particularly in emerging economies, is expected to drive the global energy demand up in the next few decades. At the same time, a combination of international agreements, government policies, industry initiatives, investor and consumer expectations and new and more affordable technology provides increasing pressure for energy producers to reduce emissions. This panel consists of stakeholders representing the global energy, environmental and technology sectors and focuses on the challenges and opportunities that our industry will face to meet the demand for more and cleaner energy while dealing with a shifting global energy mix.
