The Journey Towards 2030, Are We There Yet? An Impact of 2030 Vision and 2020 Transformation Program on Energy, Infrastructure and Other Projects in the Region

Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries announced their vision for 2030 trying to have better future for next generations and prepare for the after oil ERA.However, some countries are easing the transformation to avoid falling in recession. How will this effect announced and new projects? In this paper we will see the effect of this vision and transformation program and other programs on the projects in the region during the past period and see how this effect the oil would and gas business and projects in the region? Will this mean more projects for the energy sector and petrochemicals or are countries moving away from there? Will oil prices and budget deficits postpone or otherwise accelerate this transformation? If yes, then for which projects? Will we see more fuel expansion projects? Renewables? Solar? Will entertainment, infrastructure and housing projects have the highest priority?
