193 Technology Transfer: The Process and the Applications

Description:
Internal and external Technology Transfer (TT) is currently practiced with the help of a multiplicity of tools. Stage/Gate processes, modeling software, licensing packages are just a few examples in an ocean of potential techniques that can be employed to successfully transfer technologies. The examples can range from the addition of another reactor, the translation of new raw materials between sister plants, the construction of a similar process in a different geography and the utilization of innovations built in academia into industrial settings. This session will focus on such applications from both academia and industry.
