62 Best Practices Integrating Capital Projects with Turnarounds I

Tuesday, March 28, 2017: 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM
304B (Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center)
Description:
A turnaround is an opportune time to implement a capital project to improve operations efficiency, reliability, and/or safety. Unfortunately, many processing facilities handle both tasks as separate activities. As capital projects increase in size and complexity, so does the probability for cost and schedule overruns when not well integrated with the turnaround. This session is looking for challenges, lessons learned, and best practices when integrating capital projects with turnarounds
