Tuesday, March 28, 2017: 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM
304C (Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center)
Description:
The world's water supply is diminishing, global warming is upon us, so there are increasing challenges to conserve water, reduce emissions, treat solid and liquid wastes, and look for more sustainable solutions. This session seeks papers that challenge traditional water supply sources with newer, more sustainable solutions. Papers on solutions for water re-use and new water treatment techniques, and advancements in reducing, recycling, and/or repurposing waste from refineries and chemical plants are also being sought.
