Description:
LOPA and HAZOP are both widely used throughout industry for good reason, they are great, relatively straightforward methods for assessing and managing risk. However, they may not always be the appropriate tool. This session will focus on situations where a higher level risk analysis such as Quantitative Risk Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis or Human Reliability Analysis would be preferable to replace or augment less sophisticated methodologies.
