In August 2013, President Obama to issue Executive Order (EO) 13650 to improve chemical facility safety and security in the United States. The EO followed several catastrophic incidents and charged multiple Federal Agencies with working together to improve safety and security in chemical facilities. The Agencies have since formed both a National Working Group and Regional Working Groups to carry out an aggressive action plan. This panel will include invited speakers from both National and Regional Working Groups who will give an update on accomplishments and planned work.
