Description:
Due to the shale gas boom, the preferred feedstock for ethylene production has changed. In North America ethylene plants preferred feed stock has changed from liquid feeds to gas feeds over the few past years. Beside the new Plants, several Crackers have made changes to allow more flexibility for light feed processing. For the 2016 EPC, we would like to dedicate one full session to this transformation of our industry. This session will be organized around 3 themes: 1. The drivers of this change, Consultant 2. Feed Flexibility: the technical challenges (furnaces, fractionation), by Licensor(s)/EPC Contractor(s) 3. Operating company Feedback: Operating Companies
