152 Hydrates in Flow Assurance I

Wednesday, April 13, 2016: 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM
340A (Hilton Americas - Houston)

Description:
This session will focus on flow assurance aspects of hydrates in oil and gas production. Topics to be discussed are plugging tendencies in production systems, rheological aspects of hydrates, computational predictions of hydrate formation, fundamental data regarding hydrate behavior in flowing systems, and improved flow assurance strategies to prevent hydrate blockages. Presentations will include both computational and experimental topics.
