An Innovative CO2 Capture Technology by Self-Heat Recuperative Chemical Absorption has been proposed. By using heat circulation modules the absorption heat can be recuperated and recycled to the process, leading to reduction of the process energy consumption. The process simulation results indicate that the energy consumption of proposed process for the CO2 capture from the flue gas is reduced to more than 40% that of the conventional process.
