Wall-to-bed mass transfer coefficient data were obtained in a fluidized bed electrochemical reactor.  Limiting current technique has been used for computation of mass transfer coefficient.   Glass spheres of three different diameters viz., 2.93, 4.24 and 5.62 mm were used as bed material.  The liquid phase employed was an electrolyte belonging to ferricyanide-ferrocyanide redox system.  Angled discs arranged on a coaxially placed central rod with different pitches and disc diameters as turbulent promoters.  The mass transfer coefficient data were found to increase with disc diameter and particle diameter and to decrease with pitch and disc angle.  The rod diameter had not shown any effect.  A correlation has been obtained for mass transfer coefficient by regression analysis.
