93 Gas Conversion Technologies II

Tuesday, April 1, 2014: 2:00 PM
Jasperwood (Hilton New Orleans Riverside)
Description:
This session will include papers that present new applications, case studies, design considerations, and/or new technologies for the conversion of natural gas and syngas to saleable products. Typically these products include fuels and chemicals, methanol, ethanol, ammonia, fertilizer and urea. Case studies or new applications that discuss the challenges and lessons learned from the integration of the entire syngas conversion facility are of interest. This session will also consider the challenges that syngas conversion technologies face when alternative feedstocks (biomass, waste, etc.) are used as a raw material source.
