Grand Ballroom B (Hilton New Orleans Riverside)
Description:
The process industries continue to evolve as new opportunities and challenges arise. A core pillar in business success is process safety and identification, evaluation, control, and management of risk. New data and resources become available, tools are developed, analysis techniques are created and improved, creative approaches are taken to existing and emerging problems, new applications arise, and proactive leaders take a hard look at protecting the business and value creation. This session focuses on innovations and best practices in process safety, hazard and risk analysis, knowledge-based tools, and risk-based decision making. Innovations key to process safety and risk management in process plants and in transportation and distribution operations that lead to more effective analysis and better decisions will be presented.
