10 Management of Change

Monday, March 31, 2014: 10:30 AM
Grand Ballroom B (Hilton New Orleans Riverside)
Description:
Management of Change (MOC) is perceived as a complex and often expensive business process at regulated sites. This session invites papers with practical ideas on how to improve any aspect of the MOC process. Papers may be targeted to facility operators whose MOC processes are at any level of maturity from rudimentary/ad hoc, through established/reliable, through optimized. Topics need not focus exclusively on MOC per se, but can include how MOC interacts with related business processes such as PHA, PSSR and capital projects. Finally, papers are welcomed on the contribution of MOC to the larger process safety picture, such as API 754 or regional/global metrics gathering initiatives.
