139 Developments in Petrochemicals --- Propylene, C4, and C5 Processing

Wednesday, April 2, 2014: 1:30 PM
Rosedown Room (Hilton New Orleans Riverside)
Description:
The session on: Developments in Petrochemicals --- Propylene, C4, and C5 Processing will focus on project and technical developments mainly in the lighter petrochemical product and intermediate areas, including updates in catalysis, thermodynamic characterization, modelling, economics, and other process innovations, Especially with the continued growth in lower cost shale gas feedstock, topic areas can include processing developments in: propylene, butylenes, butadiene, isoprene, piperylenes (PIP), cyclo- and di-cyclo-pentadienes (CPD, DCPD) and other associated C5 Processing areas. This session will also include developments in various derivatives such oxy alcohols and oxygenates.
