On August 1, 2013, President Obama signed Executive Order 13650, entitled Improving Chemical Facility Safety and Security. The Executive Order (EO) directs the Federal Government to improve operational coordination with state and local partners; improve Federal agency coordination and information sharing; modernize policies, regulations, and standards; and work with stakeholders to identify best practices.  This panel will be hosted by representative from the three agencies that chair the EO Working Group – U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and U.S. Department of Labor –OSHA.  The panelist will give an overview of the EO and the working group’s progress and welcome input from the audience on key issues.
