349619 Integration of Learned Knowledge into the Technical Information System
Monday, March 31, 2014
Grand Salons 19-24 (Hilton New Orleans Riverside)
How to integrate acquired knowledge of experienced employees into the technical information systems to drive continuous process safety improvement through training and risk assessment. Creation of mentoring programs and networking will minimize organization knowledge loss when key personnel are lost due to retirement, organization changes, or asset divestitures. This will create interaction locally, throughout the organization, and industry. It will enhance employee training and development, understanding of hazard and risk identification and mitigation systems, improve process technical understanding, and reduce the potential for a catastrophic event.
