70 Managing Combustible Dust Hazards II

Tuesday, April 30, 2013: 10:15 AM
Street Level 103A (Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center)
Description:
Dust explosions and flash-fires continue despite increased awareness through an OSHA national emphasis program. NPFA is concurrently moving to improve the correlation between the various dust-related standards and define the fundamental concepts applicable to all combustible dusts. This session invites original papers describing advances in combustible dust hazard evaluation, improved methods for prevention and mitigation, and novel approaches for compliance with the safety standards and regulations.
