Monday, April 29, 2013: 10:30 AM
Street Level 101A/B (Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center)
Description:
Management systems provide a roadmap for meeting the expectations or needs of an organization, business or industry. Process Safety Management Systems have become more formalized and inclusive as a result of regulation (example: OSHA PSM), experiences (lessons learned from incidents), as well as industry initiatives (example: Responsible CareŽ). This session seeks papers describing how organizations around the world have used Management Systems directed at improvement of process safety performance.
