In 2009, at the height of the recession, the speaker, after a 30+ year distinguished career with multinationals, decided to fulfill a long time dream and start her own global business.  Her business results have wildly exceeded expectations, and she now has a global clientele.  Deborah Grubbe will outline two key areas for consideration:  1) the specific attributes of where and how a corporate role prepares you for entrepreneurship, and 2) some key professional elements to consider when preparing yourself for that career step.
