Implementing A Common Risk Management Process Across A Global Upstream Company

This presentation will discuss the four year journey to integrate a common risk assessment and management system and processes into a global oil and gas production company with operations in 14 countries. The presentation begins a review of where we started and vision of where we wanted to be.  A key element of the vision was to drive consistency in the risk assessment and management processes while improving effectiveness and promoting efficiencies. The presentation will include a summary of best practices to be implemented, a discussion of key elements of the best practices and how implementation of these practices was achieved. A discussion of common tools that were developed will be included as well as learnings, challenges and next steps.
