Solid state carbon sequestration via utilization of agro-wastes to produce value added products such as biofertilizer and biosorbent is studied in this paper. The carbon sequestration is a sustainable development process which can be used to curb the negative impacts of human activities by reducing the emission of CO2 via locking the carbon in solid form. Analytical analysis has found that both of the products contain relatively high percentage of organic carbon compare to other organic material such as soil. These might be due to the locking of carbon in solid form during the application of these products.
