Topical 5: Emerging Technologies in Clean Energy for the Twenty-First Century

- indicates session contains Extended Abstract(s) available on CD.

Description:
TEP Division deals with energy topics as well as transport processes ( momentum, heat and mass transfer) involved in the energy and other relevant processes. Thus, it covers a very wide scientific area - both basic and applied in nature. We have brought together papers dealing with alternative fossil fuels, fuel cells, energy storage systems, and renewable biofuels. Natiowide rather aggressive schedules are being considered for pilot and demonstration scale development of promising technologies especially for portable fuel cell system capable of using a variety of feeds, and biofuels production facilities that use non-food, non-feed renewable feedstocks, while opportunities for alternative fossil fuels continue to draw significant interest.
