Regulatory Impacts 2

Tuesday, April 3, 2012: 10:15 AM
370 (George R. Brown Convention Center)

Description:
Regulatory agencies, including BOEMRE and DOT/PHMSA have promulgated process safety management regulations, in the recent past. Also, EPA and OSHA have dramatically increased enforcement via inspections and citations. The changing regulatory landscape makes compliance challenging and an integrated company with pipelines, offshore and onshore facilities is subject to all of these regulations. Papers are sought dealing with the challenges of managing PSM programs in the face of multiple regulators and changing regulations.
