Description:
This session will include highlights of research on monitoring, modeling, and developing indicators of environmental, social and economic sustainability of bioenergy. Bioenergy resources and technologies influence and are influenced by both regional and global considerations. Thus, projects profiled will range from regional and specific applications to global analyses and systems of systems, and discussions will focus on the integration across these multiple scales. Specific topics will include land use, data-driven decision support systems, greenhouse gas analysis and evaluation and technology improvements in the biomass conversion process.
