Description:
Scale-up is the critical issue in cost effective process development. This session is devoted to best practices and case studies of scale-up, including successful de-risking strategies, approaches to control of scaling parameters, scale factors vs. de-risking of direct designs, dimensional analysis and integrated piloting to derisk coupled variables. Selection of unit operations for ease of scaleup is yet another therme.
