Advances in Catalysis for Refining Applications

Wednesday, April 4, 2012: 1:30 PM
338 (Hilton of the Americas)

Description:
Catalyst technology has been the backbone of modern petroleum refining. We believe the catalysis including biocatalysis will continue to play an important role in the advanced biofuels refining processes. The session will focus on recent advances on the catalyst technology applicable to both petroleum and biofuels refining processes. Catalyst technologies for co-processing petroleum and biomass (or renewable diesels) are included. We also welcome papers related to the upgrading of pyrolysis oils derived from biomass.
