2011 Spring Meeting

This session will feature four 45 minute-long presentations describing environmental regulation topics related to permitting of emissions and discharges to basic protected environmental media such as air, water and soil, as well as reviewing relevant issues on new sustainability initiatives. A description on processes designed for the purpose of mitigating environmental impacts and reducing use of environmental resources will also be presented. This session will introduce engineers to these topics in a manner that will make evident the connection between industry, consulting, government and academia's dialogue involving the environment.
