Perfect safety records and perfect environmental records are an “inalienable right”, given to us not by governments, companies, or others. It is a right we give ourselves.
It takes different skills and thinking to stay at zero recordable incidents than it does to get to zero recordable incidents. Getting to zero is a sprint. Staying at zero is a marathon.
This presentation is not a how to but is intended to invoke thoughts and questions about the approaches being taken and how to reconsider our safety and environmental performances.
It will address attitudes, values and perceptions that need to be considered when self evaluating what is needed to stay at zero.
