Quantitative Risk Analysis – Legal Perspective in OSHA Proceedings

This presentation will review the legal issues associated with quantitative risk analysis. It will focus on “acceptable risk” within the context of the OSH Act and examine both qualitative and quantitative risk assessment. Moreover, it discusses the quantitative risk criteria that OSHA has used in rulemaking for health standards.
