The CO2 Emissions from a refinery may be reduced in a variety of ways. This presentation will focus on methods to optimize Utilities and Offsites related equipment; both inside and outside the process unit battery limits. By reducing fuel fired in Utility Boilers, and CO2 production in other areas of the refinery, the total CO2 emission footprint will be reduced. Specific topics that will be covered, include optimization of an MP steam header pressure, steam generation, multiple BFW headers, HRSG supplemental firing, and tank vapor recovery
