Regulatory Developments in Nanotechnology: Implications for Industry

The prospect of nanotechnology being regulated under existing or new frameworks is now beginning to be realized at several state, federal and international levels. Recent actions by the State of California, the US Environmental Protection Agency and the European Commission will be reviewed along with a critical analysis of the implications of these regulations for industries manufacturing or using engineered nanomaterials.
