#91 - Business Case for Sustainability (T9004)
This session will showcase two panels for discussion by managers and sustainability experts from a wide range of industry and government, who have developed business cases, performance metrics and results associated with including sustainability into their business models. Morning: This session will take the form of a roundtable discussion with 4-5 business leaders discussing their companies’ approaches to sustainability and the business opportunities and challenges that these approaches present. Afternoon: 2.5 hrs. Case studies on the use of sustainability tools in decision making, funded through EPA, will be presented by the project team and companies of the Center for Sustainable Technology Practices (CSTP), the industry group of the Institute for Sustainability. In addition, there will be a broader discussion among CSTP panelists about the broader business case for use of such tools.
