Fluidization and Multiphase Flow/Separations (TWd)

#207 - Separation Process - I (TWD08)
Separation of micron and sub-micron particles from carrier fluids, or from a particulate matrix or slurry is an important process operation. In the industrial arena, a wide variety of separation processes is used in applications ranging from product cleaning, purification and refining, to monitoring, mitigation and control of pollution. Separation processes are also widely used in the laboratory, and in analytical and diagnostic testing. We envisage a broad-based session and encourage papers on topics inclusive of wet and dry systems, fundamentals and analysis, and large-scale and small-scale processes. We also invite submissions on novel and emerging technologies.
