Particulate Handling/Processing and Granular Systems (TWc)

#205 - Poly-Dispersed Granular Systems I: Mixing, Blending, Segregation (TWC02)
The success of bulk solids handling operations depends on the interaction of the equipment and the bulk material handled. This session is intended to present a series of papers, which look at the influence of bulk material properties on the design and the operability of bulk handling equipment. Special attention shall be given to the design of non-standard silos (e.g. multi-outlet, inserts), mechanical and pneumatic conveyors. Authors are particularly encouraged to provide case histories concerning retrofitting bulk handling equipment or running new materials in existing equipment.
