To control dust the hazards of dust explosions, the hazards that may exist while handling and processing combustible dusts and powders must be properly identified. This paper suggests methodology for identifying such hazards associated with storage, handling and processing of combustible dusts. A list of potential scenarios is discussed. It is hoped that such discussion will not only expose the possible scenerious, but also further help to design a more reliable and integrated unit operations for solids.
