June 09 - 13, 2018
Lexington KY

Membranes play a very important role in society with wide-ranging applications that include water-energy-food, pharmaceuticals and medical devices. We plan to have a very exciting program focused on Bioinspired and Synthetic Membrane Advances for Global Benefit while celebrating over 30 years of NAMS. However, the quality of the meeting is strongly dependent on the types of technical papers that you submit.

We will have over 20 different technical topics, some with multiple sessions. Four different workshops are scheduled for June 9 and 10 (see NAMS website at membranes.org). The meeting will start with a student program at 2 pm on Sunday, June 10, and the technical program will end on Wednesday, June 13 at 5:30 pm. The Poster Session on Monday evening (June 11) is a highly recognized event at NAMS meetings and several student poster awards will be given. Each morning (June 11, 12, and 13 at 8 am) we will have a highly distinguished Plenary lecturer.

The meeting is hosted by The University of Kentucky and King Abdullah University of Science & Technology.

The meeting chairs are:

Prof. D. Bhattacharyya (DB),  db@uky.edu

Prof. Isabel Escobar,  isabel.escobar@uky.edu

Prof. Ingo Pinnau,  ingo.pinnau@kaust.edu.sa
