This keynote session is established to highlight history and growth from safety aspects of realized or potential catastrophic events in nuclear processes and systems. The follow-on tutorial session provides an overview of safety applications related to nuclear processes. Topics of interest cover the overview of nuclear process safety; essential procedures and documents to perform a thorough safety analysis including criticality safety; and common process flammable gas safety evaluation.
