249 Integrated Design for Drug Product Processes

Tuesday, November 17, 2020: 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Pharmaceutical Discovery, Development and Manufacturing Forum (26) (PreRecorded+)

Description:
This session is one of the four sister sessions that encourages oral submissions to illustrate the advantages of integrating fundamental experimental designs and simulation tools to support drug product processes and applications. Topics ranging from but not limited to integration of experimental and simulation tools to optimize different aspects of drug product processes are welcome. Some examples of topics that will be considered in this session include research related to amorphous solid dispersion, understanding challenges around formulations and applying novel solutions to overcome them, understanding physical aspects of coating processes, etc.
