This session will focus on recent advances and cutting-edge developments related to enzyme and strain engineering for the production of value-added products, including biofuels, fine chemicals, and biopharmaceuticals. Specific topics include enzyme characterization and engineering, in vivo optimization of enzyme expression and localization, and new strategies for enzymatic bioprocessing applications.
