544 Ionic Liquids: Novel Separation and Reaction Processes

Wednesday, November 18, 2020: 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Next-Gen Manufacturing (T6) (PreRecorded+)

Description:
The tunable properties and vanishingly low vapor pressures of Ionic liquids make them versatile and environmentally benign alternative solvents for a wide array of reactions and separations processes. Because of this, ionic liquids have the potential to play a significant role in green manufacturing in the 21st century. This session highlights new and significant developments in ionic liquid synthesis, properties and thermodynamics, and applications.
