The emergence of multidrug-resistant microbes and a viral outbreak such as the Coronavirus (COVID-19) urge the development of antimicrobial platforms and materials to detect pathogens, prevent disease transmission, eradicate, and cure related infections. This session of invited talks will highlight non-clinal-care research on disruptive technologies for infection control.
