475 Hybrid Separation Processes

Tuesday, November 17, 2020: 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Separations Division (02) (PreRecorded+)

Description:
The study of hybrid separation technology is gaining momentum in developing more sustainable and economical processes. For example, the combination of distillation with membrane separation (such as n-C4 from i-C4) lowers energy consumption and improves yields and qualities of distillation cuts. Processes that integrate technologies from all separation areas are welcome. The key objective of this session is to invite presentations addressing improved efficiency and decreased equipment sizes and weight by applying hybrid separation technology. Experimental and simulation studies are welcome.
