117 Characterization of Biomaterials and Biological Systems

Monday, November 16, 2020: 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Fluid Mechanics (01J) (PreRecorded+)

Description:
This session will focus on the characterization of biomaterials, biofluids and other biologically relevant systems. Topics of interest include but are not restricted to, the characterization of novel biomaterials, especially during material evolution, the dynamics of biomolecules (e.g., proteins and single DNA chains), blood flow, hydrodynamic separation of particles and cells, and hydrodynamic phenomena in drug-delivery systems.
