479 Integrated Product and Process Design

Description:
This session covers all aspects related to the integration of chemical product and process design. Submissions are invited that explore how chemical processes are designed considering the end consumer or industrial product, and similarly, how the end products may be designed based on influences from the process conditions and constraints. Research and advancements in mathematical methodologies, approaches, models, simulations, tools, and other topics related to the integration of product and process design are welcome. Papers that address specific aspects of bringing to market new and existing chemical products (e.g. new specialty chemicals, biological based sustainable products, novel catalysts, new devices and their delivery mechanisms, etc.) are encouraged.
