461 Applied Math for Energy and Environmental Applications

Wednesday, November 18, 2020: 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
Computing and Systems Technology Division (10) (PreRecorded+)

Description:
This session welcomes abstracts on the application of mathematical modeling, mathematical analysis, numerical methods, and/or scientific computing to problems in energy and the environment. Topics of interest include power generation, power grids, alternative energy systems, biological and chemical degradation in the environment, etc. Contributions that identify unique numerical problems that arise in energy and environmental applications and address them with novel mathematical or numerical approaches are encouraged.
