Materials Engineering and Sciences Division (08) (PreRecorded+)
Description:
Experimental and theoretical tools are at the heart of discovery science, enabling the insights necessary to correlate a material's nanoscale structure and chemistry with its macroscopic properties. Submissions are invited concerning the development of spectroscopic and microscopic methods for materials characterization. Submissions pertaining to the theoretical modeling of materials and computational materials science for the discovery of new materials and the understanding of existing materials are also welcome. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, energy storage, (electro)chemical reactions, nanomaterials synthesis, optoelectronics, energy conversion, and information science. ***Note to faculty candidates: please include a note to the session chair during submission to alert them to your status***
