This session invites all research studies to fields of composites and hybrids enabled by advanced manufacturing, including but not limited to 3D and 4D printing, smart fabrication, and other non-traditional processing mechanisms. Both experimental and theoretical explorations in polymer-, ceramics-, and metal-based composites with a focus on mechanical or functional properties are welcome. New applications in soft robotics, sensors, actuators, batteries, biomedical devices, among others, are especially encouraged.
