230 Composites for Sustainability

Description:
This session invites all contributions in the field of composite materials whose focus or application is sustainability. This includes but is not limited to natural or bio-based composite materials, composite materials that advance the state of the art in green energy and sustainable processing and manufacturing, as well as composite materials that address issues central to environmental applications such as water treatment, remediation, and other complex issues surrounding the food/water/energy nexus. Note: this session will be sorted jointly with “Polymers for Energy Storage and Conversion.” Authors whose work falls under the scope of both sessions may submit to either.
